About SBSeg

The Brazilian Symposium on Information and Computational Systems Security (SBSeg) is the flagship annual conference of the Special Interest Group on Systems and Information Security (CE-Seg) of the Brazilian Computer Society (SBC). The symposium brings together Brazilian information security researchers, practitioners, developers, and users to explore cutting-edge ideas and results. SBSeg provides the opportunity for the community to get together, discuss, and promote advances in the field. Since the event was created, in 2001, it has established itself as the most important scientific event on security in South America.

The 16th SBSeg will be organized by Universidade Federal Fluminense (UFF) from 07th to 10th November 2016 in the city of Niterói, Rio de Janeiro. The symposium will be held at Instituto de Computação (IC/UFF), placed in Praia Vermelha campus. SBSeg16 will provide a unique experience to attendees that will enjoy technical sessions, keynotes, satellite workshops, and the beautiful sight of the Guanabara Bay in a same place.
